We are looking for a 2nd shift Quarry Plant Maintenance person at our Jefferson Barracks Quarry, located in St. Louis, MO. This is a union position with the Local 513 Operators. In the Quarry Plant Maintenance position you will be responsible for performing crusher plant maintenance and operating maintenance-related mobile equipment as needed. The schedule will be 5 to 6 days per week (based on season) with a current start time of 4:00 pm. Candidates must be dependable and available to work overtime as neededattendance is extremely important to the role. This is a union position with the Local 513 Operators.

2nd Shift Quarry Plant Maintenance responsibilities include:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain crushing equipment to ensure optimal plant productivity
• Inspect and replace worn parts
• Weld broken parts and other items as necessary using stick welding and cutting torch processes
• Perform preventative maintenance including oil changes and inspections
• Assisting crew in all aspects of quarry operation as assigned
• Properly follow all company policies and governmental regulations

The ideal 2nd Shift Quarry Plant Maintenance candidate will have:

• High school diploma or GED
• A strong work ethic and commitment to working safely
• Hands-on maintenance experience
• A background in quarry operations is preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency in fabrication and welding is preferred
• A valid driver's license

Candidates must have the ability to perform heavy lifting and rigorous physical activity in all weather conditions.
