A&M’s Supply Chain professionals assist our clients in analyzing each part of the supply chain process including: Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, Logistics and Distribution, Integrated Demand and Supply Planning to identify value creation opportunities.

Professional experience:

We are seeking individuals that can lead and deliver large, complex client engagements working closely with Private Equity leadership to implement creative business solutions for their portfolio companies.

Hands-on experience through consulting projects or engagement in at least several of the following areas is required:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of a client’s supply chain including manufacturing and distribution locations, baseline of product flow and seasonality, detailed operating costs, key supply chain processes in sourcing, planning, and operations.
  • Develop a structured approach to assessing potential improvement opportunities, and conduct required analysis to define potential supply chain strategies.
  • Analyze supply chain network design and footprints:
    • Baseline warehousing and distribution network cost structure and capacity utilization
    • Profile supply chain processes and inventory flows throughout the network
    • Analyze network optimization opportunities for cost, inventory, and service delivery.
  • Conduct sourcing events related to transportation and warehousing including spend / activity baseline assessments and conducting RFI/RFP processes.
  • Assess inventory planning processes and systems and recommend potential improvement opportunities.
  • Develop transformation plans to drive proposed changes in transportation, freight optimization, warehousing & distribution.
  • Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team.
  • Ability to both conduct analysis and lead teams to conduct analysis.

Qualifications:

  • 10-15 plus years of combined consulting and industry operating experience
  • Preference for industry leadership roles within Supply Chain / Distribution and Logistics
  • Previous distribution and logistics analysis / advisory experience
  • Deep functional expertise in distribution and logistics network optimization
  • Experience in leading or modeling supply chains using software support tools
  • Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills
  • Flexibility to travel based on project requirements

The salary range is $150,000--$225,000 annually, dependent on several variables including education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
