Pro Talent Group, a division of MS-IL Staffing & Packaging, and its local client are NOW HIRING an Injection Molding Estimator in the Indianapolis, Indiana area!

Salary: $65,000-$75,000

Shift : 1st shift

The Injection Molding Estimator will be responsible for developing detailed proposals in response to customer requests for quotations (RFQs). This role involves analyzing technical documents like drawings, CAD files, and specifications to accurately estimate manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, and vendor services.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer-provided drawings, CAD files, and specifications to determine time, labor, materials, and equipment required for manufacturing.
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates, covering raw materials, outside vendor services, packaging, and other components associated with customer RFQs.
• Provide timely quotations for tooling, parts, services, packaging, assembly, and any other related costs.
• Collaborate with various internal departments and external vendors to gather accurate pricing for new and existing projects.
• Input preliminary project data into the MRP system and maintain RFQ and quote logs for tracking.
• Support the sales team in external and internal customer meetings, assisting with the sales process as needed.
• Update part price quotations for ongoing customer pricing contracts.
• Offer technical assistance to sales personnel as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of quoting experience.
• Expertise in the injection molding process and industry practices.
• Advanced understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and its impact on manufacturing.
• Knowledge of material specifications and their performance in various applications.
• Proficiency in extracting and working with data from CAD platforms.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in computer systems; ERP experience is a plus.

Education Preferences: Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
