LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT LHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a full-time W2 contractor to support our client's boutique law firm in the Mt. Lebo area of Pittsburgh. This position offers long-term growth and the potential to convert to a permanent role upon successful onboarding.
A minimum of 1+ years of recent US law firm experience as a Legal Secretary/Legal Admin Assistant/Legal Assistant is required.
Preference for corporate transactional, commercial real estate, and/or securitized lending practice areas.
Typical Responsibilities: - Assist attorneys with the preparation and organization of legal documents.
- Prepare new client intake forms and communicate effectively with clients.
- Data entry is heavy, as is uploading client files and storing legal documents, checking for accuracy.
- Proofread, organize, and maintain digital and physical legal documents.
- Format, edit, and proofread legal documents.
- Manage calendars and scheduling for attorneys.
- Prepare expense reports, attorney time entry reporting, and check requests.
- General housekeeping, greeting clients, and other administrative tasks as directed.
Qualifications: - Prior experience in a law firm or corporate setting as a legal secretary or administrative assistant.
- File management, data entry, and organization skills.
- Strong technical skills in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe, Legal Practice Management, and Electronic File Storage systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Immaculate attention to detail - high level of accuracy in work product!
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
- Self-starter who is unafraid to ask questions and accept constructive feedback.
- Trustworthy, ethical, professional, and reliable with a positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to start ASAP and work onsite five days/week in Mt. Lebo.
- Willingness to complete three hiring assessments (Following Written Instructions, Legal Proofreading, and WPM typing test.)
Pay Rate: $20-$26/hour
Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
