• 3 weekends a month; Friday to Sunday 7a-7a,
• 24 hr shifts 9 shifts a month
• 12/1 - 3/1
• Board Certified or Board Eligible - REQUIRED
• Pediatric Surgery Fellowship - REQUIRED
• Covid Vaccination - REQUIRED
• Flu vaccination - REQUIRED
• Ohio State License
• Practice Setting: Level 1 trauma center. No clinic.
• Schedule: 7am-7am
• Call Schedule: Friday to Sunday
• Call Ratio: 3 weekends a month
• Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 1-3
• Annual ER Volume: 80,000 sick and injured kids every year
• Documentation System/EMR: Epic
• Number of Operating Rooms: 9
• Number of General Surgeons in Practice: 4
• Description of OR Staff: Fully staffed with pediatric anesthesiologists
• Patient Age Demographic: 1-21 years old
• Procedures required: general surgical pediatric, neonatal and trauma cases, chest wall/pleural procedures, central line insertion, chest tube insertion
• Additional procedures: Atresias - Esophageal, Atresias - Intestinal, Atresias - Biliary, Abdominal Wall Defects - Gastroschisis, Umbilical Defects - Omphalocele, Umbilical Defects - Hernia, Imperforate Anus
