Streetsense seeks a savvy, personable, and enthusiastic professional to join our Growth Team as a Business Development Representative, Real Estate, based in Washington, DC. This role is specialized in the Real Estate industry, focusing on Multifamily, Residential, Commercial, Retail and Hospitality sectors. The successful candidate will co-own the sales management process alongside key stakeholders across the organization, actively managing pursuits within all practice areas at Streetsense.
Collaborating closely with our Chief Growth Officer and Global Head of Sales, the role includes driving the business development processes, strategy identification, qualification of opportunities, coordination of pursuit team for assigned leads, and contributing to the execution of the growth plan.
The Business Development Representative will play a critical role in managing the current sales pipeline, conducting gap analyses, researching potential new clients, managing leads, following up, and compiling materials for client pitches and meetings. This position is perfect for individuals with a solid background in selling real estate products and services, endowed with an existing network that can be leveraged for new business opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Generating leads & sales for all Streetsense lines of business.
- Support the team with lead generation and proposal coordination.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the sales pipeline and deal progression within the Real Estate sector.
- Co-own the sales management process with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring a collaborative approach to business development and strategy implementation.
- Assist with meeting preparation and pitch deck creation for business development within the Multifamily, Residential, Commercial, Retail Real Estate and Hospitality sectors.
- Coordinate directly with our Chief Growth Officer and Global Head of Sales for the proposal process and client communications.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, leveraging these for business growth.
- Ensure a well-coordinated calendar of events and maximize client meetings and events with limited travel requirements.
- In-office presence & collaboration required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 5-10 years of sales/business development experience within the Multifamily, Residential, Commercial, Retail Real Estate and Hospitality industry.
- An existing network that can be leveraged for growth opportunities across the organization.
- Ability to manage multiple projects successfully without missing deadlines.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on public speaking, spelling, and grammar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software.
- Highly creative, innovative, and detail oriented.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills, capable of working independently.
