About the job Senior Systems Administrator (US ONLY) Job Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to ensure the stable operation of in-house computer software systems and network connections. This role involves planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing network software and communication links. The ideal candidate will analyze and resolve end-user software and connectivity issues, provide training, and offer strategic technology recommendations to align with the business vision. This position requires both local and remote maintenance support across multiple operational systems, including general maintenance, upgrades, and installations of servers and applications. The role demands advanced technical expertise in application networking, including load balancing, fault tolerance, and vulnerability management. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a senior systems administrator as outlined in Section 2.3.1. Ensure stable operation of software systems and network connections. Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, and optimize network software and communication links. Analyze and resolve end-user software and connectivity issues. Provide end-user training and recommendations on technology to align with business goals. Deliver local and remote maintenance support, including upgrades and new installations. Apply advanced knowledge of application networking to ensure load balancing and fault tolerance. Perform vulnerability management and maintain compliance with security protocols. Minimum Experience Requirements: Seven (7) years of progressive experience in Information Processing. Six (6) years specialized experience in multiple Information Processing disciplines. Four (4) years of hands-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting various software. Security and Certification Requirements: Sensitivity Level: IT-I Critical Sensitive Clearance: Secret IA Level: IAT II Certifications: One or more of the following: MCSA 2003, MCSE 2003, M2003 NET 4, M2008 NET 7, MCITP SA, MCITP EA, CSA:WS2012, MCSE:WS2012, MCSA:WS2008, MCSM:DS, M2012 NET, MCM: Windows Server 2008: Directory, MCA: MS Windows Server Directory, CCAA, GCWN M RSA Archer Administrator Certification (required at the time of proposal submission). Required Skills: Must hold an IT-I Critical Sensitive or equivalent security clearance at the time of proposal submission. Must have a current RSA Archer Administrator certification to support Task Areas 15.
